Kate did this to me!

Kate reminded me that ladies buy dresses to go to weddings (which I am) (going to a wedding....uh, and a lady, or 63% so according to some weblog personality test...) and then proceeded to point out all these online shopping opportunities!....Maaaan!

How am I supposed to pick?

These are the top five that I've been drooling over at the expense of writing time, for it is fall and I am easily distracted by pretty things.

Help. Kate?

Ooh, I love them all. And am seriously considering buying 3, 4, and 5 myself at some point...

I think the 5th one is my fave overall, but I fear it's not forgiving enough for me. So maybe for you? I could live vicariously! And of course what's really important here is my happiness.

Seriously, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the above.

Also, psst... mybabyjo.com

Number 5....number 5.

And Number 1 for me.

But number 5 for you.

i think number five is called "the paula." i think the designer read your book and was inspired to create. red and black are wicked paula colors and should be rocked and rolled.

Upon further reflection, my thoughts on each.

1) Absolutely adorable and would probably be killer on you. My only objection is, there seems to be no shortage of little black halter dresses in the world today.

2) Also adorable, and I know this cut is awesome on you. But then, that's because you already have at least one dress cut just like this. Do you go for the known quantity or try something new? Always a dilemma.

3) I LOVE this one and think it would be fucking fabulous on you. It seems the least fancy of the bunch, though--which might be good, because it's probably more wearable than the others, but maybe that cuts down on the fun of the new fancy dress a little? Out of the 5, this is the one I'm most likely to eventually buy for myself, for as much as that might be a factor either way.

4) I worry about this one. I think it's supercute on the model, and I WANT it to work, but I fear the double bow action might look more juvenile than flirty in reality. (Not that I've ever been opposed to juvenile, but...)

5) Still love this one and want to see you in it. And apparently I'm not alone, so...

Um, yeah. That was no help at all. But now you know.
